This is the second vax s2s steam mop we’ve had in the space of 9 months, on both steam mops the steam stops coming out, and both water tanks fractured leaving water leakage, everything else was fine with the product while it worked. We did try taking the steam mop back to the retailer although we were not that we couldn’t as it was more than 30 days of receipt. We are now saving for a karcher floor steamer as these comes with 3 years warranty.
Shame really as vax mops are quite compact and don’t need much storage space, but it’s the cost of paying £79-99 per time and in short space of time, when only used twice per week as there’s only two of us that live in our house.
Other family members who used to use vax steam mops have also had problems with tanks fracturing or steam no longer in working order and tends to drip water rather than produce steam. Have now also switched to karcher’s.
