The Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop has specially steam pockets which have been patented this allows you to turn over the pocket so you can clean on the other side. Which enables you to loosen and lift locked in dirt.

The Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop is very easy to put together, just have three separate pieces to fit together.
You must vacuum or at least sweep the floor before you use this mop. As the steam mop will not pick up the larger particles from your floors.
The cleaning cloth for the Shark Steam Pocket Mop completely covers the head of the mop. You can also flip the mop head over and use it to clean with both sides. It comes with two rectangular cloths and two triangular cloths. The triangular cloths are used for cleaning in tight areas and in corners. Also include is a fluffy cloth for dusting wooden floors.
The head swivels completely, which is great for getting around furniture and into tight corners. The only problem is that because of this mop will not stand on its own.
Leaves the floor wet after cleaning but the floor does dry quickly. Best to pump about ten times before you start to get the steam going. The steam pumps out in the back and forth motion when using the steam mop.

Make sure you have extra pads before you start cleaning, they can then all be thrown in the washing when you have finished cleaning the floors. The duster works when using on your hard floors.

What I like about the Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop
The power cord is long approximately 30 feet in length. Therefore, you do not need to either use an extension cord or keep plugging in and unplugging the steam mop.
Does get up a lot of the dirt and when one side of the mop head is dirty you can flip it over and use the other side.
The Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop has a large water tank.
The handle is extendible but if you extend it all the way, it does become a little flimsy. The Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop takes thirty seconds to heat up. The machine is lightweight and easy to use.
What I dislike about the Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop
The Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop handle is made of plastic and does feel a bit flimsy.
The Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop does not work so well when cleaning the skirting boards. As it cannot get right up close to them.
Does not stand on its own but this is because if its Swivel action which is an advantage. C
ustomer service is poor. If you send it back for repair, they expect you to pay the postage both ways as well as paying for the repair.
The Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop can leave streaks and a dull finish to floors. The handle can break and the company charge for replacement of the handle.
It requires pumping at times to get sufficient steam to clean with most steam mops. One back and forth movement generates a blast of steam.Frequently you need more steam so generating this can be quite tiring.
The steam mop tends to be a bit noisy. Does not clean grout very well, but this is the case with most steam mops.
The Shark S3501 Steam Pocket Mop does not glide very well so this can be a little hard on the back.
