Little Yello Steam Cleaner Review

If you want a steam cleaner that is able to clean all your washable surfaces, flooring and kitchen and bathroom surfaces. One possible solution is the Little Yello Steam Cleaner. It is steam cylindrical cleaner designed to clean all washable surfaces. The cleaner is rather like the vacuums that have wheels. Meaning you can pull it from room to room while using it.

I found the Little Yello not very powerful and there are better cylindrical steam cleaners on the market.

The Little Yello Steam Cleaner states that it can be used on all washable surfaces. It cleans and sanitises without using ant chemicals. Also claims to remove stains from floors and other surfaces. In addition you can steam clean your mattresses and clothes. It can be used on your car and in the garden.

The Little Yello Steam Cleaner comes well packaged and is quick and easy to assemble.  The Little Yello Steam Cleaner is light, well designed and easy to use. The steamer took about ten minutes to reach temperature. Each tank produces up to 45 minutes of superheated steam.

The selection of tools is very comprehensive from a tool to clean windows to a carpet extension. There are tools to cover all the tasks you need to carry out around the kitchen and home

The super heated steam is generated using the 1500 watt of power this enables the steam to loosen dirt, to remove stains and to kill germs  It will heat the steam to a temperature of 214 degrees centigrade. This will help it remove grease, dirt and grime throughout the house.  In addition it generates 3.5 bars of steam pressure. This pressure is what generates the superheated steam.

The Little Yello Steam Cleaner is easy to manoeuvre, compact to store and light to use.

The steamer has some safety features incorporated e.g. pressure protection which prevents both accidental opening and also protects against excess pressure building up.

Little Yello Steam Cleaner comes with an ergonomically design carry handle making it very portable.

What I like about the Little Yello Steam Cleaner

The Little Yello Steam Cleaner has a good long lead and hose which gives it a long reach for cleaning all your surfaces.  The Steam cleaner is very light and portable with an easy to carry handle.

There are fifteen attachments, which are easy to use and fit to the cleaner. The accessories can be stored on board the steamer.

They have a great service service department when you need to ask any questions or to deal with any problems

What I dislike about the Little Yello Steam Cleaner

I feel that the steam cleaner was not that powerful. The steam did not bring everything up as clean as I expected. It only appears to clean surface dirt but not the ground in grime. I needed to initially give the floor a clean several times for the best results. Finally I found that it was not powerful enough to remove most stains.

You can only use the steam cleaner for approximately five minutes before the steam stops. Then you have to leave it another five minutes, before the pressure builds up and it is ready to steam.

There is only one large cleaning head used for floors and carpets. I think it needs to have a smaller head attachment which can be used for smaller jobs. There are only small steam jet attachments provided which are to small.

Some of the brushes that are supplied are of poor quality and the bristles wear out quickly.

When cleaning the windows it lifted the dirt but the windows needed a good rub to remove the water and streaks.

In the bathroom I still ended up cleaning it with cleaning fluids after using the steam cleaner.

Summary of Review

I think the Little Yello Cleaner lacks power and does not clean as well as I would have expected.  I can not therefore recommend it.   If you require one cylindrical steam cleaner to clean all your surfaces I would recommend checking out at Amazon either the karcher SC1020 or Vax S5
