- If you hand wash the mops head after using. Then wash it in the washing machine it comes up fine
- The surfaces dry fairly quickly without leaving streaks
- The cable is of sufficient length for cleaning most areas. But but could be do with being longer
- You need to release the steam trigger and then letting the mop head guide over the floor. When using so that it does not leave the floor to wet
- The steamer can be a little hard to move around on lino surfaces. But it is much more easier to use on tiles and wood

Cons
- Some customers found the Bissell Steam Mop rather heavy and difficult to maneuver. Particularly if you are disabled
- On glazed ceramic floors does not dry quickly and leaves wet patches
- Does not stand alone tends to fall over.
- You have to keep the steam trigger on constantly to produce steam
- The handle is not adjustable
- The water tank can leak. If you do not replace the cap and tighten it firmly
- Tips over quite easily unless propped up
- The cord is not very long
- Produces less steam than would be expected
